Mid-Level Civil Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Mid-Level Civil Engineer Assistant Project Manager for a top civil and environmental engineering consulting firm in Pittsburgh, PA. This role supports civil/site development projects for commercial, industrial, institutional, and energy clients. The position involves site design, permitting, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and participation throughout the full project lifecycle-from concept through construction. The individual will work closely with senior leadership, interact with clients and public agencies, and mentor junior staff while growing their career in a collaborative, employee-focused environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer
- Land development, site layout, grading, stormwater management
- Erosion & sedimentation control, site utilities
- Engineering in Training (EIT) certification required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or PE scheduled/in progress
- Proficiency in computer modeling software, including: AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Storm Sewers
- Strong communication skills; comfortable in client-facing roles
Ability and desire to mentor junior engineers and designers

- Background supporting projects in:
- Commercial & industrial land development
- Energy (oil & gas, renewable/solar)
Institutional or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Project Management software (Bluebeam)
