Your impact Experienced in the design of roadways and drainage for INDOT (or other DOT clients) with the ability to oversee and assist in analyses, developing calculations, and preparing contract documents (PS&E) in accordance with state and local agency requirements. Working within a team of roadway engineers in the preparation of design and contract documents for transportation projects. Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope. Who You Are BS in Civil Engineering required. Professional Engineer (PE) required. Candidate may report in‑office or work a hybrid schedule. Indiana resident highly preferred. 5–8 years of demonstrated experience in roadway and/or bridge design and plan preparation on transportation projects for DOT clients. INDOT experience is a plus. Experience in design software. Experience in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer is a plus. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Traffic modeling, roundabout design, drainage design and/or highway lighting design experience is a plus. Benefits Competitive premiums for medical, dental, and vision.
