Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to department protocol, ensuring patient safety and high-quality diagnostic images; position patients correctly and adjust scanning parameters as needed.
- Operate CT equipment and the Cerner imaging system; verify patient identity and exam orders, document findings, and archive images per policy.
- Monitor patients during CT examinations; administer contrast or coordinate with nursing staff per protocol; respond to changes in patient condition in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with radiologists and fellow technologists to ensure appropriate exam protocols, image quality, and workflow efficiency; communicate any deviations or concerns.
- Maintain strict infection control, HIPAA compliance, and radiation safety practices; participate in routine quality control and equipment checks.
- Provide compassionate patient care, explain procedures, and address questions to improve patient experience and cooperation.

Requirements
- ARRT CT certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience
- Ability to work in a hospital imaging department and outpatient imaging setting
- Experience with Cerner imaging systems is preferred or willingness to learn
