Job Title: Assistant Manager, PACU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit - Critical Need Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM Experience: 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience Minimum two years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit environment. Minimum two years of clinical care experience with Pediatrics, preferably in ER, ICU, or PACU environment. Minimum two years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in an Outpatient setting. Minimum two years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures. License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: Basic Life Support Advanced Cardiac Life Support Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited nursing program Procedural Sedation Competency Description: The position requires a registered nurse with critical care expertise. Experience in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit is preferred. Candidates must be proficient in providing high-quality care to patients. The role involves managing patient care post-surgery and ensuring patient safety. Excellent communication skills are essential. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is required. Commitment to continuous learning and improvement is expected.
