Our client is a specialty manufacturing organization here in central Ohio that is growing. They provide their employees with a stable work environment, excellent benefits, growth potential, non-union manufacturing setting and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

They are looking to hire a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor. Main duties include:

• Leading a small team of Machine Operators (10-15) on 3rd Shift 
• Ensuring safety and quality goals/initiatives are met
• Willing to ‘roll up the sleeves’ and help on the machines when needed
• Lead by example (training and helping others move up within the organization)
• Track inventory by using MRP or ERP/SAP type systems

Qualifications include:

• At least a couple years of experience leading small teams of associates in a heavy industrial environment (ideally a chemical plant)
• Hands-on leadership (someone who was promoted from an Operator to a Leader is ideal)
• Ability to work nights and occasional weekends.
