Medical Assistant, Emergency Medicine
Jobtailor
Assist with direct patient care and perform specialized medical procedures of a routine nature Assist medical and/or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients Room patients, measure and record vital signs Complete patient interview and history Prepare patients for examinations, tests, and treatments and explain procedures Assist with procedures as ordered by the physician Collect samples such as blood, urine, and sputum from patients and perform routine laboratory tests Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent A diploma from a Medical Assistant Program or minimum of 1 year of medical assisting experience or Military Medic training or EMT-P (Paramedic) training or equivalent of 1 year combined relevant medical assisting experience and education Medical Assistant Certification (preferred) Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in direct patient care, including vital sign measurement, patient preparation for examinations, and sample collection. Holds relevant medical assisting qualifications and certifications to support effective patient treatment and care. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
