Product Manager, Payroll & Rewards product focus

What You'll DoWe’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our HR Rewards product family team. In this role, you’ll lead the Payroll product portfolio while helping shape a connected strategy across the rewards product family which includes payroll, compensation, and benefits. You’ll bring an end to end product perspective to payroll, expanding the focus beyond technology delivery to include business strategy, operational workflows, stakeholder needs, and measurable product outcomes.You'll have the opportunity to:Own the end-to-end Payroll product management lifecycle across capabilities delivered through Oracle HCM, ADP, system integrations, and supporting operational workflowsLead product intake, discovery, prioritization, and delivery by identifying high-value opportunities, defining desired business outcomes, testing hypotheses, and using data and insights to guide product decisionsPartner across payroll, human resources, technology, delivery, and vendor-supported teams to create shared understanding, align priorities, and remove barriers to delivering valueCollaborate with the compensation and benefits product manager to maintain a cohesive Rewards product family roadmap across payroll, compensation, and benefitsFacilitate roadmap, prioritization, and tradeoff discussions while identifying cross-product dependencies, impacts, risks, and investment opportunities across the rewards product familyEnsure payroll product decisions consider the broader impact on adjacent HR products and the rewards experience as a connected portfolioMonitor product health and outcomes, evaluate the impact of releases, and make performance insights visible to product leaders, partners, and stakeholdersAdvance product maturity within payroll by modeling strong product practices, improving ways of working, and serving as a mentor and thought partner who helps strengthen product management capabilities across the rewards product familyOperating at the intersection of financial services and technology, Principal builds financial tools that help our customers live better lives. Our mission, integrity, and customer focus have made us a trusted leader for more than 140 years!Who You Are4+ years of business, technology, or product management experience; or equivalent demonstrated through the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education2+ years partnering with engineering teams, business partners, and stakeholders in a highly collaborative, matrixed product environmentExperience leading one or more products through the product lifecycle, including strategy, discovery, prioritization, delivery, and outcome measurementExperience applying critical thinking, customer and stakeholder insights, and data to identify problems, evaluate opportunities, and make product decisions.Ability to lead through influence, champion stakeholder relationships, negotiate priorities, and build alignment across organizational boundariesExperience mentoring and coaching product professionals along with advancing product management practices within an organizationSkills That Will Help You Stand Out Product management experience within the payroll domain, working with ADP, Oracle HCM, or comparable enterprise payroll and HR platformsExperience supporting products within a global organization, with the ability to apply a global approach and collaborate across regionsStrong product management maturity and can help business, technology, and program partners understand how their work connects to a cohesive product strategyFinancial services/retirement industry backgroundSalary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
