Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-time Opportunity in Palm Bay, Florida

Available shifts: Part time on 7a-3p & 3p-11p, every other weekend

Full time on 7a-3p.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Palm Bay, Florida. As a CNA, you will deliver direct care to residents and patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and life care standards in our health and rehabilitation center. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and mobility, while prioritizing the wellbeing and dignity of our residents.

Responsibilities:
• Caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
• Aiding with daily tasks such as laundry, transportation, and mail delivery
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Observing and reporting changes in residents' condition and status
• Conducting rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
• Assisting in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and cleaning up
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of a state-approved CNA license
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation
