Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist

The Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality medical imaging services to patients of all ages. This position involves performing a variety of imaging exams and applying fundamental principles, theories, and techniques relevant to each modality to ensure reliable test results. Additionally, the technologist will provide daily leadership in both patient care and departmental workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various medical imaging examinations including X-ray and CT scans.
• Apply technical knowledge and adherence to best practices to guarantee accurate imaging results.
• Lead patient workflow and departmental operations effectively on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient care and experience.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in all imaging procedures.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge related to radiology technologies and practices.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program in Radiology.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in X-ray imaging, certified by the ARRT.
• Willingness to float between CT and X-ray modalities as needed.

Certification Requirements:

• ARRT Certification in Radiology.
• BLS Certification (AHA).

Additional Information:

This position requires the ability to work flexible shifts, including three 12-hour shifts from Friday through Sunday. Weekend requirements and on-call commitments will be discussed as part of the onboarding process.
