About the Role

The Company is in search of an Associate Executive Director for its senior living and health care services organization. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate leader with a strong strategic and operational mindset, dedicated to the mission of serving older adults and caregivers. This role is pivotal in setting and achieving goals, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring excellence and innovation in service delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with residents, team members, family members, and vendors to maintain high standards of satisfaction and compliance. They will also be responsible for monitoring the internal and external environment, leading a large team, and managing operating and capital budgets. Applicants for the Associate Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience. A background in senior care, services, or hospitality, with at least 5 years in a related setting, is required. The role demands a leader who can ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies, create a culture of talent excellence, and contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's mission and strategic plan. The candidate must be licensed as a Long Term Care Administrator in the Commonwealth of Virginia or be able to obtain the license within the first year of employment.
