MRI Technologist

Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. Key Responsibilities Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality. Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety following ALARA principles. Prepare and administer medications through vascular access as prescribed, and evaluate image quality and proper positioning. Assist with magnetic resonance interventional procedures and support data transfer and post-processing. Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying safety principles to minimize risks. Select pulse sequences based on protocols, demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex tasks, and participate in quality improvement activities. Qualifications & Skills Certification by ARRT (MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR required. Graduate of a Radiologic Technology training program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
