Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Surgical Services RNs

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 for Registered Nurses with over 2 years of Acute Care Experience. Eligibility criteria and payout details will be discussed during the interview process.

Compensation: $36.00–$49.16 per hour, translating to $432.00–$589.92 gross for a 12-hour shift (before taxes and deductions; overtime will be compensated as per applicable laws).

Shift Details: 12-hour shifts available, primarily during the day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, patient-focused perioperative care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care throughout the surgical process in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and respond to any clinical changes.
• Ensure a safe, sterile environment while adhering to regulatory standards.
• Supervise and assist OR Technicians and other support staff.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, staff education, and unit projects.
• Facilitate efficient patient flow, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold high standards of care.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a current and valid state RN License.
• Hold a current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain it.
• Obtain ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and keep it current.
• Acquire PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintain it.
• At least one year of prior perioperative experience or relevant on-the-job training is required.
• CNOR Certification (AORN) is preferred.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

The estimated compensation for this role ranges from $36.00 to $49.16 per hour. The exact starting salary will be determined based on various factors, including skills, years of relevant experience, education, and licensure.
