Senior Property Accountant

Our client owns, operates, and invests in industrial services firms and we’ve partnered with them in their search for a senior property accountant. You will own the day-to-day accounting and financial operations across a diverse portfolio of entities, including centralized services and specialty assets - each with unique accounting considerations. This role goes beyond traditional accounting - you’ll partner closely with property management, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, smooth operations, and strong financial visibility across the business. RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage general ledgers across multiple entities, including real estate holdings and operating/service companies Record daily transactions (rent, invoices, utilities, taxes, loan activity) Oversee AP/AR processes Perform monthly reconciliations (bank, credit card, escrow, loans) Execute month-end close, including journal entries and accruals Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Support CPA coordination and maintain audit‑ready records Ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to internal controls Partner with property management on rent escalations and CAM/insurance/tax reconciliations Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking Produce regular property performance reports (rent roll, occupancy, delinquencies)

QUALIFICATIONS

3–5 years of accounting experience (multi‑entity experience preferred) Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related degree Strong understanding of GAAP Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks, Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) Proficiency in Excel and strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment Strong communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset High level of integrity and confidentiality #J-18808-Ljbffr Arden Search
