If you have restaurant industry experience and a passion for food and strong customer service, please apply to us today.**Responsibilities:**Maintain solid knowledge of all food products and can skillfully apply culinary techniquesMonitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areasTransport supplies from the storeroom and stock in designated areasStart prep work on items needed for the menu of the dayPrepare all menu items following recipes and yield guideEnsure all products are rotating on a first-in, first-out philosophyEnsure all requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated areaProperly label and detail products to ensure safekeeping and sanitationMaintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standardsMaintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipmentopening duties such as setting up workstation with required tools, equipment, and supplies; inspecting the cleanlinessOrganize all the various prep items needed from different areas to ensure that all items are in place and ready for service**Qualifications Required:**At least 2 years of experience as a cook in a fast paced, high-volume restaurantBasic working knowledge of knives and knife skillsWorking knowledge of kitchen equipment to include, but not limited to a slicing machine, juicer, small wares equipmentWorking knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation proceduresWorking knowledge of weights, measures, and various cooking techniquesProfessional appearance and demeanorCompensation: $19/hr*If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!* #J-18808-Ljbffr
