Job Title: Litigation Attorney (Business Litigation) Compensation: $120,000- $170,000 DOE About the Role A leading multi-specialty law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic and fast-paced business litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior attorney looking for long-term professional growth within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment. The role offers exposure to a broad range of complex business litigation matters, with opportunities for advancement, including consideration for an expedited path to equity partnership based on experience and portable business. Key Responsibilities Case Management Manage a diverse caseload of business litigation matters, including breach of contract, corporate disputes, and other commercial issues Oversee matters from initial assessment through resolution, including trial and appeal where applicable Legal Research & Strategy Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case strategies Provide practical, business-focused legal advice to clients Litigation & Advocacy Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials Client Engagement Build and maintain strong client relationships Provide regular updates and strategic guidance on case progress Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff Mentor and support junior team members as needed Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in North Carolina (or ability to obtain promptly) Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, ideally within business or commercial litigation Experience in North Carolina Business Court and/or Federal Court strongly preferred Proven ability to manage complex litigation matters independently Preferred Experience Experience handling high-value or complex commercial disputes Demonstrated interest in long-term growth and partnership track opportunities Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with legal research tools and litigation support software Strong organizational and time management skills Effective negotiation and conflict resolution abilities Ability to work under pressure and manage a high-volume caseload What We Offer Competitive compensation and performance-based bonuses Clear pathway for professional development and advancement Potential for expedited equity partnership (based on experience and book of business) Collaborative, team-oriented work environment Flexible/hybrid working options About the Firm The Firm are a multi-specialty, full-service law firm focused on advising closely held businesses and business owners.
