Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse Trusted Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an exciting short‑term travel assignment in our Medical Surgical Unit. This role is travel only; candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility and will receive a competitive week‑long pay package based on travel distance and demand. Shift 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (Night shift) Experience Minimum 24 months of RN experience with at least 12 months of recent practice. At least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the last 3 years. 3 months of experience with Cerner preferred. 12 months of acute care experience. Requirements A licensed registered nurse in Alabama or a compact license accepted for submission. Must be willing to float to additional units and locations. Travel only – local assignments not accepted. COVID vaccination required after submission; religious and medical declinations accepted. Flu vaccination required after submission; religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. Pre‑employment modules may be required. Upload any certifications or health documents to expedite onboarding. Driver’s license required for submission. Two references from the last 12 months (any reference type) required. Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) Staff and Per Diem or Part‑time experience at HealthTrust Program – Community Health Systems (CHS) for the past 12 months. Unit/Facility Details Auto offer dependent upon start date/scheduling requests. Shift & Scheduling Every other weekend required. Maximum 7 days off per month.
