Commercial Electrician

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted regional provider of skilled trade services, specializing in commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and electrical services. We are currently seeking a Commercial Electrician to support new construction and tenant improvement projects at various stages of construction throughout California. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts, and the ability to travel for extended assignments as needed. Responsibilities Install, route, and secure various types of conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and Romex Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctions Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred) Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred) Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule May perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foreman Requirements A minimum of four years of experience in commercial construction Ability to commute to various jobsites throughout Southern California Availability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairs Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weather Benefits Superior EMP offers competitive compensation and a benefits package that includes: Medical insurance Employee-only 401(k) retirement contributions Supplemental insurance options Paid sick leave and vacation time Opportunities for professional development and career growth #J-18808-Ljbffr Superior EMP
