Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, creating tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Deliver high-quality individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
• Provide compassionate crisis intervention when clients face acute distress, ensuring timely and effective support to promote safety and stability.
• Engage with community outreach initiatives that foster mental health awareness, aiming to destigmatize mental health issues and encourage individuals to seek help.
• Document client progress meticulously using our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The client base at Health Link Now Wellness Clinic includes individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds, age groups, and cultures who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and other mental health concerns. You will engage with a spectrum of patients, allowing you to broaden your clinical experience and enhance your cultural competence.

Qualifications

• A current, independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .
• A master's or doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary to build meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to the diverse needs of various client populations.
• Strong organizational skills for effective case management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a detox or addiction recovery setting is advantageous, providing you insight into the unique challenges faced by clients in these situations.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities tailored to a variety of mental health issues.
• Previous engagement with community outreach or educational initiatives related to mental health advocacy is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
