Sr Specialty Sales Professional (Men's Health) - Lexington, KY Location: Louisville, KY Job Description Summary Fully functioning sales representative role. Plans and executes a moderately complex sales process, focusing on gaining and leveraging an understanding of the customers’ objectives across their full spectrum of needs. The senior sales professional has broad knowledge of the customer and leverages business knowledge to expand relationships with customers. They can fully and knowledgeably articulate the strengths and limitations of assigned Keenova products and competitors, sustaining trust and delivering value with all relevant contacts. Responsibilities Establish and maintain call objectives for geography with minimal consultation with the Area Sales Manager to assure proper portfolio balance and planned actions. Develop and complete appropriate territory business plan for optimal activity. Create effective call plans that include who to contact, how frequently, and product focus. Execute an individual prescriber plan of action to maximize selling opportunities as developed through the territory business plan. Use approved promotional materials and sell using current Keenova strategies. Maintain metrics: call activity, sample utilization, quarterly business plan updates. Adhere to all FDA, PDMA, HPPA, and Keenova policies in interactions with healthcare professionals. Maintain up-to-date database documenting sales call information, trends, objectives, sampling data, and territory performance. Effectively manage sample accountability program. Complete weekly activity reports, check email and voicemail at least once daily, update the Area Sales Manager on the territory business plan quarterly, and track expense reports every two weeks. Maintain in-depth knowledge of specific healthcare issues, products, diseases, and market environment. Learn and execute core sales training curriculum and new product information. Understand the local payer environment and incorporate appropriate sales strategies. Attend required sales conferences and training classes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant biopharmaceutical industry experience. Strong B2B sales experience; all newly hired sales professionals expected to enter at this level. Ability to understand technical issues (medical, computer, data analysis). Customer oriented: externally focused, active listening, emotion management, customer trust building. Business acumen: scans external environment, analyzes market trends, leverages internal network. Sales effectiveness: initiates dialogue, insightful questioning, manages relationships, expands account depth. Product & therapeutic expertise: applies product knowledge, articulates marketing messaging, reframes conversations. Drive for results: sense of urgency, compelling communication, initiative, change creation, commitment. Personal credibility: upholds Keenova’s reputation, accountability, adaptability, openness, developmental investment. Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a vehicle. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Overnight travel required (30% or more). Physical Requirements Overnight travel of 30% or more. Must have a valid driver’s license. Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Compensation & Benefits The expected base pay range for this position is $90 K – $129 K. The position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the applicable program. Bonuses are awarded at the company’s discretion.
