Job Details Job Location: Main Campus – Anderson, IN 46012 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Graduate Degree Job Category: Education Anderson University is seeking an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach that will also serve as an Athletics Operations Assistant. Assistant Women's Basketball Coach Responsibilities Recruit prospective student-athletes. Master the use of recruiting software. Engage in scouting and video breakdown. Assist in game plan development. Participate in all aspects of practice and game preparation as assigned by the head coach. Monitor student-athletes’ academic progress. Perform other duties as assigned by head coach. Athletics Operations Assistant Responsibilities Assist the Director of Athletics with specific sport game day operations and concessions. Supervise student employees. Coordinate transportation. Assist with fundraising activities. Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (required); a master’s degree is preferred. Previous coaching experience (collegiate preferred). Clear understanding of NCAA III philosophy and the student-athlete experience. Ability to recruit in Indiana and contiguous states. Ability to work as part of a team environment. Demonstrated commitment to the Anderson University mission and Christian lifestyle. Ability to communicate with a diverse student body, faculty, and staff. Effective problem solving skills and personal initiative. Belief in and commitment to Jesus Christ and the Christian faith as interpreted through the historic witness of the Bible and the contemporary ministry of the Holy Spirit.
