Electrical Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician (Electrician) - Level III

Pay: $35-40/hr. (based on experience)

Shifts Available:

• 2nd (3pm to 11pm)

• 3rd (11pm to 7am)

• Weekend Nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) 7pm to 7am

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical and electronic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electronics, PLCs, and automation systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems. You will work closely with production operators and play an important role in downtime reduction through skilled troubleshooting.

How You Will Make an Impact

\u2022 Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

\u2022 Install, configure, and calibrate instrumentation and control devices.

\u2022 Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, VFD\u2019s, sensors, and control systems using testing equipment.

\u2022 Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and components.

\u2022 Install/repair electrical wiring, equipment, and control circuits; new electrical services; replace and repair wiring and faulty electrical equipment as needed (including computer cable).

\u2022 Must understand NFPA 70E standards and can apply these standards in the work situation.

\u2022 Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum of 3 years\u2019 electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Critical technical, functional, or operational knowledge

• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, and lockout/tagout procedures.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a 24/7 operation.

• Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, and perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and automation systems.

• Familiar with troubleshooting A/C and D/C VFD systems (Schneider Electric, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).

• Familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) program (JDE-Oracle)

• Familiar with controls related to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
