JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Shorewood has an immediate opening for an experienced Leasing Professional! Our team members are high performers that care about customer service and exceed expectations. The Leasing Professional plays a critical role in our success.

Offering the epitome of island lifestyle in the PNW, Shorewood Apartments hosts 645 units on Mercer Island. Located on over 40 acres of lush landscaping and with views of Lake Washington, this garden-style community features updated amenities and a neighborhood feel.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday. Thursday - Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 10am-5pm

JOB DESCRIPTION

What your day might look like

• Being part of a team and having fun while providing excellent customer service
• Conduct prospect building and apartment tours, including virtual leasing and in-person tours
• Ensuring a stellar move-in experience for our customers'
• Market research on comps for marketing and advertising purposes
• Community event planning and execution
• Follow up with prospects by phone and email
• Utilizing social media and internet platforms to market available units
• Assisting in lease renewals
• Respond to resident concerns

What we are looking for

• Previous sales and customer service experience desired, but a positive can-do attitude is required
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, additional property management software (Yardi/One Site) desired but not required
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively and complete legal documents, sell and explain apartment features, and answer resident questions
• High level of professionalism in both manner and dress

The hourly range for this role is $21.00 - $25.00

Additional Compensation :

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

• Corporate Positions : In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
• Onsite Property Positions : In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
