BPN Operations Excellence Program Manager

Overview As a BPN Operations Excellence Program Manager you will transform complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across the organization. Your role will involve designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and executive‑level reports while leveraging SQL to write queries, validate data integrity, and troubleshoot across platforms such as Snowflake and Teradata. Location and Hours Remote position with standard business hours, Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Ideal candidate will reside in Arizona. Responsibilities Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to assess workflows, data, scenarios and other factors to identify improvement efforts that enhance clinic and operational performance. Co‑develop business cases and justifications for change opportunities. Assist with data collection, observations, research and analysis of clinic outcomes, financial and operational performance, and business planning for identification, design and implementation of improvements. Ensure compliance with operating and capital budgets to achieve financial performance. Conduct regular Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action Planning with leaders using process variation analysis, population health metrics and operations research techniques. Develop workflow assessments, gap analyses, recommendations and proposals to drive and sustain positive change. Maintain a working knowledge of operations, identifying top performers and disseminating best practices. Develop and maintain operation labor models using operations research and industrial engineering techniques, balancing cost savings with labor cost, using Economic Order Quantity and New Vendor Techniques. Assist in the development and sustainment of operational, clinical, health plan and network value performance management systems to monitor improvement sustainability and effectiveness. Coach front‑line staff and managers to ensure adherence to performance management systems, including training in lean principles, Types of Waste, 5S Principles, Standard Work and other process improvement methods. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Two to four years of relevant work experience. Ability to apply quantitative and qualitative process improvement techniques and perform advanced data analysis. Proficiency with one or more operating systems, spreadsheets, database managers, presentation programs and word processors. Demonstrated leadership skills with effective verbal, written and presentation skills, and ability to identify and meet customer needs in a team environment. Effective negotiation capabilities and ability to lead in a highly matrixed environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Healthcare. Industrial Engineering degree or a degree in a quantitative, engineering, business or healthcare related field with a Black Belt in Lean/Six Sigma. Experience with Lead/Sigma transformation or population health or insurance operations. Working knowledge of Process Design or Process Improvement tools.
