Maintenance Technician Location: Monroe, US, 28110 Employment Type: Permanent Job Title: Maintenance Technician The person is in charge of: Assembly Dept. Maintenance Requirements Responsibility Assist Senior Maintenance Technicians in the performance of machine repair functions. Maintenance, cleaning, and repair tasks for all dosage related equipment/systems. Perform preventive maintenance actions as assigned Maintain maintenance shop supplies, cleanliness and organization as directed Rebuild assigned equipment & parts as needed. Daily communication with management on maintenance actions/performance Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs in a safe and timely manner Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions Ability to provide guidance and leadership to team and to production personnel Maintain Good Documentation Practices; complete necessary reports and checklists Follow all safety rules and procedures Other duties as assigned Job Requirements High School Diploma/Technical School Perform Transactions in various electronic systems Excellent administrative skills Detail oriented Technical / Mechanical thought process Maintenance department experience is a plus Ability to learn specific technical processes Computer Skills Including Microsoft Office. Verbal Communication-Presentation Skills Solid problem solving and analytical skills Knowledge of Continuous Improvement programs Self motivated/ ability to work independently on a regular basis to achieve daily/ weekly/ monthly/yearly tasks Physical Requirements Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with heavier weights Must have appropriate vision to read schematics, prints, purchase orders, instructions, procedures, etc. Must be able to perform duties in limited spaces.
