Part Time CaregiverHappier At Home Care has been family owned since 2017. Voted top 3, for 2022 Buck's County Choice Awards in Home Health Care. We are seeking a part-time Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, medication reminders, and other tasks that improve the client's living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.Responsibilities:Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressingAssist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercisesPrepare meals and snacksLight housekeeping activitiesMedication remindersProvide companionshipAssist with errands and shoppingMaintain clients care plan progressCollaborate with other HAHC team members, and family members on the wellbeing of clientQualifications:Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferredEducation requirements; High School Diploma/GEDMUST be 18 years of ageMust have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, provide proof or vehicle registration and insuranceMust be able to pass a comprehensive background checkFirst aid and CPR certified preferredKnowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skillsAbility to adhere to all health and safety guidelinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHave access to reliable source of communication along with basic computer skillsAbility to lift 50 or more poundsCompassionate, respectful, ethicalCovid-19 Vaccinate is a plusCompensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hourWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
