Warehouse Shipping & Receiving AssociateWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory handling, and data entry activities. This role is critical to ensuring products are accurately received, processed, packaged, and shipped to customers in a timely manner.The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work independently after training. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with potential for permanent employment based on performance and successful completion of required background screening.Key ResponsibilitiesShipping & Receiving· Receive and process incoming shipments from customers and carriers, including FedEx deliveries.· Coordinate outbound shipments of finished products to customers.· Verify shipment contents and documentation for accuracy.· Prepare shipping documents and enter required information into warehouse management systems.· Learn and execute FedEx shipping processes accurately and independently.Warehouse Operations· Move, sort, organize, and stage products throughout the warehouse.· Package finished products for shipment.· Prepare skids/pallets, including labeling, shrink-wrapping, and shipment preparation.· Transfer products between pallets and storage locations.· Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.· Support radio processing operations, including cleaning radios as needed.Data Entry & Systems· Enter and verify shipping and receiving information within warehouse systems.· Utilize Client WM systems and computer-based inventory/shipping applications.· Work within Microsoft Office and Google Workspace environments.· Maintain accurate records with a high degree of attention to detail.First 90-Day Success MeasuresThe successful candidate will:1. Learn and efficiently process incoming customer and FedEx shipments.2. Become proficient in outbound FedEx shipping procedures.3. Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality.Required QualificationsMust-Have Requirements· Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience preferred.· Valid driver's license.· Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English.· Basic computer and data-entry skills.· Comfortable working in a Windows-based environment.· Ability to obtain and maintain required building access credentials (Core ID access).· Ability to pass a Federal Background Investigation as a condition for potential full-time conversion.· Ability to safely lift and move products up to 50 pounds (team lift required).Preferred Qualifications· Forklift certification.· Experience using Client Warehouse Management (WM) systems.· Previous shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse environment.· Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.Physical Requirements· Continuous standing and movement throughout the shift.· Frequent lifting of up to 35 pounds independently.· Team lifting of cartons and materials up to 50+ pounds.· Ability to move, sort, package, and palletize warehouse materials throughout the day.Work Environment· Heated and air-conditioned warehouse facility.· Shipping and receiving operations office within the warehouse.· Work performed at a standing portable workstation.· Comprehensive on-the-job training provided for up to 90 days.· Expected to perform independently and accurately after training completion.Safety RequirementsThis position performs safety-sensitive functions within a warehouse setting.
