If you have a strong commitment to safety, great organizational skills, and a knack for precision, we want to hear from you!Compensation & BenefitsPay Rate: $20.00 / hourJob Type: Monday thru Friday 7AM-4PM; Full-time, Non-ExemptLocation: Parsippany, NJJob SummaryThe Warehouse Associate will verify and maintain accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare items for transit, and handle day-to-day warehouse duties. A core responsibility of this role includes the precision cutting and re-spooling of wire and cable products.Essential ResponsibilitiesOrder & Inventory Accuracy: Verify order accuracy in the ERP system and at workstations while cutting/spooling wire. Read and interpret pick lists to accurately pull, pack, and ship orders.Shipping & Receiving: Examine incoming/outgoing contents against manifests, invoices, or orders. Prepare shipping documents (work orders, bills of lading), determine shipping methods, and record shipment data (weights, charges, discrepancies).Logistics & Carrier Coordination: Contact carrier representatives to arrange deliveries and resolve any shipment issues (damages, shortages, or non-conformance).Material Handling: Safely load/unload trucks, perform inventory cycle counts, and route materials to proper departments using hand trucks, conveyors, or sorting bins.Equipment Operation: Pack, seal, label, and affix postage using hand/power tools and postage meters. Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely.Customer Service & Maintenance: Provide friendly "Will Call" customer service coverage. Keep the warehouse environment clean, safe, and organized. Maintain safety and loss prevention documentation.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: 1 to 3 years of related warehouse experience.Technical Skills: Skilled in basic computer operations and warehouse software. Experience with Oracle is a strong plus.Physical Agility: Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.Certifications: Forklift certification is preferred (or the ability to obtain it).
