Cincinnati North Marriott is seeking a passionate Part-Time Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role requires flexibility to work both morning (AM) and evening (PM) shifts, including weekends based on business needs. You will operate in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant, ensuring every dish meets our strict standards for quality, presentation, and preparation speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality menu items accurately according to standardized recipes.
• Set up, stock, and maintain cook stations with all necessary supplies and prep ingredients.
• Execute orders efficiently during high-volume breakfast, lunch, or dinner rushes.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace in compliance with food safety laws.
• Monitor food portions, temperatures, and presentation to minimize waste and ensure quality.
• Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing deliveries using First In, First Out (FIFO) practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience working as a line cook, prep cook, or short-order cook.
• Skills: Strong knife skills and deep knowledge of culinary cooking techniques and food safety.
• Pace: Ability to thrive and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Schedule: Flexibility to work varied shifts (AM/PM) and weekends as needed.
• Physical: Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for 10-hour shifts on your feet.
• Lifting: Ability to lift, push, and carry objects weighing up to 2550 lbs.
