Assistant Store Manager

Greer's Markets - 406 North Main Street - Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day store operations in the absence of the Store Director; Ensure all departments are fully staffed, trained and operating to company standards; Assist in implementing merchandising, operating and sales initiatives; Manage department schedules and staffing to align with payroll budgets; Communicate company goals and procedures to store team and ensure compliance; Assist in training and hiring of store associates; Monitor associate performance and provide coaching and evaluations; Safeguard company assets and maintain inventory controls; Support cash handling procedures and shrink control; Foster positive community relations and customer service standards; Coordinate safety practices and compliance with health and safety initiatives
