(USA) Manager II, Quality Engineer - Supply Chain - Implementation Location: Shakopee, MN (Multiple locations) Job ID: R-2501527 Salary: $104,000 – $156,000 per year (Edgerton, KS) Position Summary Coordinates the implementation of projects across the Sam’s Network by building training documents, dashboards to track key KPIs and align on improvement and savings with the Finance Team. What you’ll do Promote and support company policies, initiatives, procedures, mission values and standards of ethics and integrity. Lead process improvement tools and methods (e.g., 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, time and motion studies) to eliminate quality losses and deviations within a distribution center. Compile and submit deviations to existing One Best Way playbooks and provide input to divisional focused improvement teams on project ideation and replication opportunities. Assist with the tactical deployment of the Quality Excellence WPS program methodology. Manage project execution of top quality losses in the functional area and help build the capability of other area managers and associates. Create area quality loss profile analysis and performance metrics. Develop gap analysis to support WPS integration. Lead quality‑related savings projects within area of responsibility by removing loss from the process. Support department managers with WPS program projects, associate engagement and KPI improvements within the process area. Deliver expected functional area results through KPI analysis, loss elimination and by creating standard work to reduce process variation. Assist with the review and response of quality‑focused process improvement projects owned by area managers. Coordinate, complete and oversee job‑related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs. Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values and standards of ethics and integrity. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 3 years’ experience in Quality or Process Improvement, or 5 years’ experience in Engineering or Process Improvement with Lean Six Sigma experience. Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long‑term savings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience building and implementing a Quality Management System. Knowledge and application of a functioning Quality Management System, including Statistical Process Control, FMEA, Quality KPIs, etc. Quality improvement experience in a Total Performance Management (or related program) environment.
