Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments
- Monitor and document patient progress toward established therapy goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
- Active and valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Georgia
- Graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Prior experience with geriatric populations in a SNF environment
- Familiarity with MDS documentation and Medicare/Medicaid compliance requirements
- 35-hour weekly guarantee provides consistent and predictable scheduling throughout the contract
- Short-term 3-week contract offering flexibility for travel and per diem therapy professionals
