About the Position

Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening mid shift Monday-Thursday Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS preferred, CST preferred but not required Must-Have: Must have neuro and ortho experience as this is a significant portion of cases. Must have robotics experience. Description: Candidates must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule. Candidates cannot be employed full time, part time, or PRN with any associated facilities. Candidates must have no artificial nails while providing patient care. Refusal to comply will result in termination of contract. Common cases include general surgeries, laparoscopic procedures, gynecological surgeries, and various orthopedic, neuro, plastic, eye, ENT, thoracic, and endoscopy procedures. Experience with Da Vinci Robot and other advanced surgical technologies is required. Weeknight call and weekend call is required on a rotating basis. There is no floating outside of the operating room. Green scrubs will be provided. Requests for time off must be submitted upfront and are limited. Additional time off will not be approved after submission. The hospital may cancel shifts as specified in the contract. The charting system used is EPIC. This position operates within an acute care setting.
