Key responsibilities include overseeing complex close processes, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors, and leading the adoption of new accounting standards. The role demands a deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX requirements, as well as a strong background in M&A and technical accounting.
