Registered Nurse - Radiology

Interventional Radiology RN Travel Assignment

Seeking an experienced IR RN for a travel assignment in a busy interventional radiology unit. This role involves providing specialized patient care for complex procedures in a high-volume hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage patient sedation during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiology and medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient responses, and outcomes in GE Meditech EMR.
• Respond promptly to call alerts, ensuring a 30-minute response time for on-call situations.
• Support the team in handling complex cases such as tumor ablation, neuro interventions, and thrombectomy procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with a minimum of 1-year recent IR RN acute care experience.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in neuro experience and thrombectomy procedures preferred.
• Show strong communication skills and ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
• Be a team player with a proactive and upbeat personality suited for a collaborative environment.
• Have excellent technical skills with GE EMR and Meditech systems.
