Occupational Therapist Hondo, TX Specialty: Occupational Therapy Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $2230 - $2687 | Shift: 5x8 days Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for your next rewarding travel assignment? Our healthcare partner in Hondo, TX is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their team and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive occupational therapy services, including:
- Screening and evaluating patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practices
- Administering therapeutic activities, exercises, and modalities
- Assessing patient progress and adjusting treatments as needed
- Providing consultation and counseling to patients and their families
- Documenting all required information in the electronic documentation system
- Participating in patient care conferences and required meetings
- Supervising occupational therapist assistants and rehabilitation aides
- Need 1 year experience in setting
- Occupational Therapy license in Texas
- Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
