About the Role:

The Warehouse Worker II plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory control, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing and processing shipments, and ensuring that all goods are handled safely and efficiently. The role requires close collaboration with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a smooth workflow. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to prevent errors and maintain a safe working environment. Ultimately, the Warehouse Worker II contributes to the overall success of the supply chain by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and internal stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment with demonstrated skills in inventory control, shipping/receiving, picking/packing, and bulk stock put-away activities.
• Experience safely operating Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), including reach trucks and order pickers, is required.
• Basic computer skills to use inventory management software.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in forklift operation or other warehouse equipment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehousing.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate inventory control by tracking stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, and updating inventory management systems.
• Perform bulk stock replenishment and put-away activities by accurately storing inbound inventory in designated warehouse locations using reach trucks, order pickers, and other material handling equipment.
• Handle shipping and receiving duties, including inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, and preparing outgoing shipments according to company standards.
• Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately to meet customer specifications and delivery deadlines.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including reach trucks, order pickers, forklifts, and pallet jacks, to move, stock, replenish, and retrieve inventory throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Skills:

The required skills of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and picking/packing are utilized daily to ensure accurate tracking and movement of goods within the warehouse. Inventory control skills help maintain precise stock levels and prevent discrepancies, which is critical for operational efficiency. Shipping and receiving skills are applied to verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that all products meet quality and quantity standards. Picking and packing skills are essential for preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Preferred skills such as forklift operation and familiarity with warehouse management systems enhance productivity and safety, enabling the worker to perform tasks more effectively and support overall warehouse operations. Experience with bulk stocking and inventory put-away processes is essential for maintaining organized warehouse locations and ensuring product availability for order fulfillment. Proficiency operating reach trucks and order pickers is required to safely access, store, and retrieve inventory in elevated storage locations while maintaining productivity and accuracy standards.

Flexible first-shift schedule: Start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM and end times between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Mandatory overtime as required by business needs.
