Oracle EBS DBA

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Oracle EBS Database Administrator to support our client in. This position has the exciting opportunity to support critical Oracle EBS and database environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability across production and development systems. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria: Requirements: Experience with Oracle EBS System Administration Strong experience in Oracle database and EBS application upgrades and patching Experience setting up disaster recovery using RMAN and Data Guard Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL Experience writing shell scripts for backup, automation, and routine data loads Strong knowledge of RDBMS concepts and best practices Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems Ability to work independently and communicate effectively Desired: Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters Experience with Oracle job scheduler Strong documentation and communication skills Responsibilities: Administer and support Oracle EBS (GL, AP, AR modules) Maintain and administer Oracle 12c/19c databases supporting Oracle EBS R12 (12.2.12) across production, development, test, and UAT environments Perform Oracle EBS maintenance tasks including patching, cloning, backup and recovery strategies, upgrading, and performance tuning Conduct daily database health checks, monitor performance, optimize SQL queries, and manage backup/recovery using RMAN and Data Guard Handle system deployments, troubleshooting, and issue resolution Provide after-hours support for patching and maintenance activities when required Create and maintain technical documentation Manage and maintain Oracle APEX applications The hourly pay range for this position is $55 – $65, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
