Production Assistant (Truck Driver)

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking Production Assistants (Truck Drivers) to pick up and/or drop off of donated good (clothing, furniture and household items) at our warehouse, stores, donation boxes and at donor's homes. Working for The Salvation Army is an opportunity to help serve others in need. The position will also help support The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center by providing an example of professional conduct, good work habits and reinforce positive habits and personal growth for men and women who need these skills. The applicant must have a valid Driver\'s License with an acceptable DMV record and be able to pass a driving test. The position requires the ability to use an iPad, follow GPS, and have good communication and customer service skills. The Production Assistant (Truck Driver) will be responsible for completing a daily scheduled route. As a representative of The Salvation Army, it is expected that the Production Assistant will always treat customers courteously and maintain a neat appearance. The Production Assistant will also be required to perform a daily walk around inspection of their vehicle to ensure safe operation, clean out the truck cab daily, load and unload donated items.
