Job Overview The Private Client Associate is responsible for supporting the Private Client team in providing exceptional service to our Private Client customers. The Associate works independently, takes direction, seeks guidance when necessary, and demonstrates a sense of urgency when required. This non‑exempt position supports new business opportunities and existing client needs. Responsibilities Qualities: Act as a client advocate always. Maintain a positive relationship and excellent communication with clients and co‑workers. Work as a team and openly share insurance knowledge. Assume ownership of problems until resolution is successfully accomplished. Become a student of the business; seek insurance knowledge through training and education. Skills: Support Private Client Account Managers and Producers to meet the needs of our Private Client customers by assisting with new business opportunities and existing clientele. Collaborate closely with the Private Client team to ensure a seamless new business process regarding proposals, account reviews, creating executive reviews or schedules of insurance so the producer is prepared to present to the client. Assist relationship manager with billing inquiries, basic carrier endorsements, and contract review questions. Maintain client records in agency management systems; accurately record and update client information and documentation of policy details, client contact information, and any changes. Process new business applications: reviewing accuracy and completeness, collecting necessary documents, and entering information into the system. Assist in underwriting process: gather necessary information from the Prospect Questionnaire, prepare applications for submission, and ensure all required documentation is provided. Develop a strong working knowledge of carrier websites and utilize them to secure accurate and timely information for clients. Document all communications with clients and carriers promptly; records must reflect the most current status. Comply with all internal procedures and practices while meeting service and quality standards. Take on additional responsibilities as assigned; manage projects directed by EPIC Private Client Leadership. Manage and process daily carrier Download and Communication Logs. Manage and process daily invoicing and monthly expirations. Pull cancellations, reinstatements, and non‑pays from carriers’ websites daily. Enter and set up prospects in the management system and run MVR & CLUE. Compensation The national average hourly rate for this role is $30.77–$35.90 in base pay, exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. Base pay will be determined based on experience, skills, training, certifications, education, internal equity and market data.
