Visit our website to learn more about our company and culture.Our Grand Rapids Slumberland location is looking for a dependable and motivated Part-Time Warehouse & Delivery Associate to support daily operations and provide excellent service to our customers. This position works closely with the Store Manager and plays an important role in ensuring a positive customer experience.About SlumberlandAt Slumberland, we believe every home should be a place of comfort and relaxation. We help customers furnish their living spaces with quality furniture, mattresses, bedroom sets, dining collections, and home décor that bring warmth and style to their homes.Position OverviewAs a Warehouse & Delivery team member, you will assist with furniture deliveries, warehouse organization, and store maintenance. This role involves helping transport products to customer homes, supporting safe vehicle operation, and maintaining an organized warehouse and showroom environment.Key responsibilities include:Assisting with product deliveries and customer setupConducting routine delivery vehicle inspections and documenting mileage and fluid levelsReceiving, moving, and storing merchandise safely throughout the facilityOperating manual and powered material-handling equipment according to safety standardsHelping maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the warehouse, showroom, and propertyProviding professional and courteous customer service during deliveriesYour work helps create an exceptional experience for our customers while supporting the overall success of the store.ScheduleThis part-time position is expected to average 16–24 hours per week, typically spread across three to four days weekly. Hours may vary depending on store and business needs.QualificationsSuccessful candidates should possess:A valid driver's license and MVR approval from our insurance companyAbility to meet insurance requirements for operating company vehiclesAbility to lift, carry, and move items weighing 75+ pounds on a regular basisHigh school diploma or GED preferred, but not requiredPrevious warehouse, moving, or delivery experience is helpful but not requiredWillingness to complete pre-employment drug screening, including cannabis testing as required under Minnesota DOT regulationsBenefits & PerksStarting pay for this position is $16.50 per hour.
