Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)This is a 13-week contract position.3x12-hour night shifts (7:30 PM - 7:30 AM) with every other weekend and holiday coverage as required.We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a busy high-acuity unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to laboring patients and assist during deliveries. This role requires expertise in managing high-risk situations and familiarity with a variety of medical procedures and technologies.Responsibilities:Administer care to laboring patients, ensuring high standards of clinical practice.Assist with high-risk deliveries, including C-sections and vaginal births.Monitor fetal heart rates and recognize abnormal patterns, intervening as necessary.Perform necessary medical procedures such as epidural anesthesia, IV management, and neonatal resuscitation.Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) using Epic.Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy and pharmacy.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.Current and active RN license in good standing.Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred.Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.Previous charge experience is a plus.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
