Physician Assistant | Cardiology - General/Other Location: Trenton, NJ Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position An established and growing cardiovascular practice is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong background in cardiology to join its cardiovascular care team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable independently evaluating & managing cardiac patients in a hospital setting while collaborating closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals. • Independently evaluate, diagnose & manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions • Provide comprehensive inpatient cardiology care for approximately 10 to 15 patients per day • Conduct detailed physical examinations & develop evidence based treatment plans • Interpret EKGs with a high level of proficiency • Prescribe medications & coordinate ongoing cardiac management • Perform & interpret cardiac stress testing, with training available if needed • Collaborate closely with cardiologists & multidisciplinary healthcare teams • Facilitate referrals & coordinate continuity of care • Maintain accurate clinical documentation & comply with regulatory standards • Participate in hospital credentialing & insurance enrollment processes Schedule: Monday through Friday | Day Shift No Weekends or On Call Requirements • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program • Current New Jersey Physician Assistant license • Active NJ DEA & CDS • Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience as a PA • Experience independently evaluating & treating cardiac patients • Strong EKG interpretation skills • Prior critical care experience required • Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced hospital environment • Excellent communication, organization & interpersonal skills Benefits • $130,000 to $140,000 annual salary • Merit based bonus opportunities • 401(k) with employer match after one year • Medical, dental & vision benefits • Malpractice & gap insurance coverage • 9 paid holidays • 4 weeks PTO • 1 week sick/personal leave • 5 CME days • $3,000 annual CME allowance
