- Certification or formal training in phlebotomy
- Proficiency in venipuncture, phlebotomy, and finger sticks
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
- Knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques
- Minimum 2 years of hospital (Acute Care) or bedside draw experience all age groups
- Experience performing bleeding-time tests and quality-control documentation
- Compassionate patient care and strong bedside manner
- Ability to calm nervous patients and reassure them during procedures

- Are you familiar with electronic medical records (EMR) systems?
- Can you consistently follow infection control and aseptic procedures?

- Have you done bedside draws on all age groups in a hospital setting?
- Are you comfortable explaining procedures and reassuring nervous patients?
- Do you have experience documenting results and maintaining quality-control logs?
