OT - Occupational Therapist

Inpatient Occupational Therapist

Day shift, 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00) from Sunday to Thursday. A weekend day will be required.

This is a 13-week contract position.

The Inpatient Occupational Therapist will provide comprehensive evaluations, treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions for patients in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate should be a generalist who is confident with medical diagnoses and is capable of managing moderate to maximum assistance patients, including those who are ventilated.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions, including co-treatments as needed.
• Manage cases involving various medical diagnoses, including neurological conditions.
• Perform re-evaluations and update treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of Arizona.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in occupational therapy.
