Shift: (Open availability including weekends) Position Summary: Cleans resident rooms, apartments, six-plexes, baths, exercise/therapy areas, offices, halls, and other areas by performing the following duties. Qualifications: Ability to print and speak simple sentences. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Creates and maintains an environment that translates the mission of eliseo into actions that are conducive to the maximum well-being of the residents served. Assures that services provided are of appropriate quality and are consistent with eliseo philosophical principles. Washes beds and mattresses after discharge of residents, remakes beds daily and on resident bath day. Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition. Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dusts furniture and equipment. Polishes metalwork. Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills. Empties wastebaskets. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Replenishes soap, toilet tissue and towels. Cleans resident's wheelchairs.
