Position Overview
Provide occupational therapy services to middle school students, supporting their educational participation, functional skills, and progress toward individualized goals.
Conduct initial and re-evaluations to help determine special education eligibility and recommend appropriate supports and interventions.
Provide MTSS and IEP support while collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and skill development.
Consult with school teams to help students generalize therapeutic skills across academic and school environments.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist License
School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred; strong communication and collaboration skills
