Required Skills:

• Valid Medical License to Practice in Virginia
• Board Certification or Eligible in OB/GYN
• Proficiency in C-sections, vaginal deliveries, suction, D&C, ectopic pregnancies, ovarian torsion, and management of abnormal bleeding
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Ability to handle both hospital coverage and clinic duties
• Flexibility to cover both on-call hospital shifts and clinic days

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous locum or hospital-based OB/GYN experience
• Familiarity with high-risk obstetrics management
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient communication
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and patient needs

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Active Virginia medical license or eligible for licensure
• At least 2 years clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel (if not local)
• Clean background with no malpractice history
• Credentialing process typically 60-90 days; temporary privileges available with a clean record
• Rates include daily clinic pay, on-call compensation, callback fees, holiday premiums, and potential conversion bonuses
