What You’ll Be Doing Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other flow‑through entities. Lead and manage tax projects, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables. Analyze client data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with clients and internal teams, articulating complex tax concepts clearly and confidently. Mentor and guide team members, fostering growth and technical development. Stay informed on current tax issues and agricultural industry trends to provide proactive advice. Education & Experience Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or a related field. 2+ years of public accounting experience. CPA eligibility/license preferred. Technical Expertise Strong background in tax compliance across multiple entity types. Experience in tax return preparation and review; project leadership preferred. Core Competencies Digital fluency, including ability to learn and navigate CCH Axcess Tax. Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to identify patterns and issues. Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions. Additional Requirements Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20% annually). When making compensation decisions, Pinion takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location. The wide range for this role reasonably accounts for these factors. Specific compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case.
