Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this role, you will:
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License and a current K-12 SPED Certificate
- Maintain an active IVP Fingerprint Card
- Certified in CBT and/or STRIVE programming
- Demonstrated experience supporting students with emotional disabilities and/or a variety of exceptionalities, particularly those with prosocial and self-regulatory challenges
- Depth of understanding regarding the needs of at-risk, ethnically diverse, and limited English proficient students
- Background in developing and implementing special education services and related documentation adhering to federal, state, and district standards
- Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training or willingness to participate in professional development
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate onsite with inclusive, practical, CBT, and STRIVE programs, meeting the needs of caseloads ranging from inclusion/SUCCESS groups to targeted intervention programs
- Provide direct instruction, progress monitoring, and ongoing support for student growth
- Engage in individualized education program (IEP) development, implementation, and review
- Communicate regularly with families, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Attend CIE training July 21-24 and participate in staff development as required
