Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Lewisville, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: M-F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM plus call

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a 6-week assignment. The successful candidate will operate advanced nuclear medicine equipment and perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general, cardiac, and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Administer sentinel node injections, DATScan, Hida scans, gastric emptying studies, VQ scans, thyroid uptake tests, bone scans, and more.
• Utilize the GE NM 850 Dual Head SPECT/CT Scanner and other advanced imaging technologies.
• Collaborate with a team of registered nurses and technologists.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Meditech Health Information System.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must be a Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) and/or ARRT(N).
• Must hold a valid MRT license from the Texas Medical Board.
• BLS certification from an HCA approved vendor.
• Experience with GE Scanners, Xeleris Post Processing, and GE Centricity PACS preferred.
• Excellent venipuncture skills and good computer skills are essential.
